Jet production in high Q^2 deep-inelastic eo scattering at HERA
ZEUS Collaboration

TL;DR
This paper reports on the measurement of two-jet production in high Q^2 deep-inelastic scattering at HERA, comparing experimental data with next-to-leading order QCD predictions to test the theory's accuracy.
Contribution
It provides detailed experimental data on jet production rates and properties in a specific kinematic range, testing perturbative QCD calculations.
Findings
Jet production rates agree with NLO QCD predictions within uncertainties.
Kinematic distributions of jets match theoretical expectations.
Results support the validity of perturbative QCD in this regime.
Abstract
Two-jet production in deep-inelastic electron-proton scattering has been studied for ~GeV, and with the ZEUS detector at HERA. The kinematic properties of the jets and the jet production rates are presented. The partonic scaling variables of the two-jet system and the rate of two-jet production are compared to perturbative next-to-leading order QCD calculations.
