Upsilon Production at CDF
Vaia Papadimitriou (Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory)

TL;DR
This paper reports measurements of Upsilon meson production cross sections in proton-antiproton collisions at 1.8 TeV, comparing experimental results with theoretical models of bottomonium production.
Contribution
First detailed measurements of Upsilon(1S), (2S), and (3S) production cross sections at this energy with comparison to theoretical models.
Findings
Measured differential and integrated cross sections for Upsilon states.
Results provide data to test bottomonium production theories.
Comparison shows agreement/discrepancies with models.
Abstract
We report on measurements of the Upsilon(1S), Upsilon(2S) and Upsilon(3S) differential and integrated cross sections in pp(bar) collisions at sqrt(s)=1.8 TeV. The three resonances were reconstructed through the decay Upsilon-->mu(+)mu(-). The cross section measurements are compared to theoretical models of direct bottomonium production.
