Test of Various Photocathodes
Ryoji Enomoto, Takayuki Sumiyoshi, and Yoshio Fujita

TL;DR
This paper evaluates the performance of different photocathode materials, including CsI and CsTe, by measuring their quantum efficiencies under vacuum and gas exposure conditions.
Contribution
It provides comparative data on the quantum efficiencies of various photocathodes, including multi-layer structures, under different environmental conditions.
Findings
CsI and CsTe show varying efficiencies under vacuum and gas exposure.
Multi-layer photocathodes exhibit different performance characteristics.
Quantum efficiency measurements inform optimal material choices for photocathode applications.
Abstract
A test of various photocathodes was carried out. The tested materials were CsI, CsTe, their multi-layers and so on. The quantum efficiencies of the various materials were measured under a vacuum and/or after exposure to several kinds of gases.
