Study of accelerator neutrino interactions in a liquid argon TPC
A. Martinez de la Ossa

TL;DR
This paper investigates the capabilities of a 50-liter liquid argon TPC in detecting and reconstructing neutrino interactions, specifically focusing on quasi-elastic events, to measure their cross section.
Contribution
It presents the first detailed study of a liquid argon TPC's performance in a neutrino beam for quasi-elastic event detection and cross section measurement.
Findings
Successful selection and reconstruction of quasi-elastic events.
Measurement of the neutrino interaction cross section.
Demonstration of the detector's potential for neutrino physics.
Abstract
We study the potentialities of a 50 liter liquid argon TPC prototype operated at the CERN WANF neutrino beam. We concentrate on the selection and reconstruction of quasi-elastic events and measure the cross section for this reaction.
