Measurement of K^{0}_{\mu3} form factors
The NA48 Collaboration

TL;DR
This paper presents a high-precision measurement of the form factors in the decay K_{L} to pi^{\pm} mu^{\mp} nu_{\mu}, providing detailed parameters and testing theoretical models with a large data sample from the NA48 experiment.
Contribution
The study provides the most precise measurements of the vector and scalar form factors for the K_{L} decay, including linear and quadratic terms, and compares them with theoretical predictions.
Findings
Measured vector form factor slopes: λ'_{+} and λ''_{+}
Determined scalar form factor slope λ_{0}
Extracted pole masses for vector and scalar form factors
Abstract
This paper reports on a new high precision measurement of the form factors of the K_{L}\to \pi^{\pm} \mu^{\mp} \nu_{\mu} decay. The data sample of about 2.3 events was recorded in 1999 by the NA48 experiment at CERN. Studying the Dalitz plot density we measured a linear, , and a quadratic, term in the power expansion of the vector form factor. No evidence was found for a second order term for the scalar form factor; the linear slope was determined to be . Using a linear fit our results were: and, . A pole fit of the form factors yields: $m_V…
