Observation of $B^+\to\rho^+K^0$ and Measurement of its Branching Fraction and Charge Asymmetry
B. Aubert, et al, BaBar Collaboration

TL;DR
This paper reports the first observation of the decay B+ to rho+ K0, measuring its branching fraction and charge asymmetry with high statistical significance using data from the BaBar detector.
Contribution
It provides the first measurement of the B+ to rho+ K0 decay's branching fraction and charge asymmetry, expanding understanding of B meson decay modes.
Findings
Branching fraction measured as (8.0^{+1.4}_{-1.3}±0.6)×10^{-6}
Charge asymmetry measured as (-12.2±16.6±2.0)%
Significance of observation is 7.9 standard deviations.
Abstract
We present the first observation of the decay , using a data sample of 348 fb collected at the resonance with the \babar detector.The branching fraction and charge asymmetry are measured to be and (, respectively, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. The significance of the observed branching fraction, including systematic uncertainties, is 7.9 standard deviations.
