It presents the expected sensitivities of the ADS and Dalitz methods for gamma measurement using B to DK decays at LHCb, based on simulated data.
Findings
Expected sensitivities for gamma measurement are quantified.
ADS and Dalitz methods are evaluated for their effectiveness.
Simulated data demonstrates potential precision of these methods.
Abstract
One of the most promising ways to determine the angle gamma of the CKM unitarity triangle is through measurement of the tree level processes B to DK. The LHCb collaboration has studied the potential of these decays employing the Atwood-Dunietz-Soni (ADS) and Dalitz methods, making use of a large sample of simulated data. For each method the expected sensitivities to the angle gamma are presented in this report.
