Electroweak physics at HERA
Juraj Bracinik (for H1, ZEUS collaborations)

TL;DR
This paper reviews electroweak physics results from HERA, highlighting measurements of charged currents, Z-exchange effects, and electroweak parameters, confirming Standard Model predictions with high precision.
Contribution
It presents the first combined electroweak and QCD analysis of HERA data, achieving world-competitive accuracy in electroweak parameter measurements.
Findings
Polarized CC data agree with SM predictions of no right-handed charged currents.
Z-exchange effects observed in charge and polarization asymmetries.
Electroweak parameters measured with high precision, consistent with Standard Model.
Abstract
The HERA experiments have collected interesting luminosity samples with both polarized and unpolarized lepton beams. The polarized CC data are directly sensitive to right handed charged currents. The data are in agreement with the SM predicting their absence. Effects of Z-exchange have been seen in the lepton beam charge and polarization assymetries. A combined electroweak and QCD analysis allows one to measure electroweak parameters with world competitive accuracy.
