Design considerations for achieving ultra-high luminosity
Abstract
I discuss a proposal for a high intensity linear collider operated at low center of mass energies GeV with high intensity beams. Such a facility would provide high statistics samples of (charmed) vector mesons and would permit searches for LFV with unprecedented precision in decays of leptons and mesons. Implications on the design of the linear accelerator are discussed together with requirements to achieve luminosities of cms or more.
