A. Kubarovsky, V. Popov, V. Volkov

TL;DR
This study reports the observation of a narrow baryon resonance at approximately 1523 MeV/c^2 in proton-nucleus interactions at 70 GeV, using the SVD-2 detector, indicating potential new baryonic states.
Contribution
First observation of a narrow baryon resonance at 1523 MeV/c^2 in pA interactions at 70 GeV with independent phase space analyses.
Findings
Resonance mass measured at 1523 MeV/c^2
Resonance observed in two independent data samples
Results support existence of a new baryonic state
Abstract
The inclusive reaction was studied at IHEP accelerator with proton beam using SVD-2 detector. Two different samples of , statistically independent and belonging to different phase space regions were used in the analyses and a narrow baryon resonance with the mass was observed in both samples of the data
