Charmed Hadrons from Fragmentation and B Decays
Jens S\"oren Lange (for the Belle Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper measures the fragmentation functions of various charmed hadrons at 10.6 GeV, compares multiple models to the data, and finds evidence of non-perturbative QCD effects at high momentum fractions.
Contribution
It provides detailed measurements of charmed hadron fragmentation functions and evaluates several fragmentation models against experimental data.
Findings
Fragmentation functions measured for multiple charmed hadrons.
Comparison of models shows varying agreement with data.
Evidence of non-perturbative QCD contributions at high x.
Abstract
The fragmentation functions of , , , , and at 10.6 GeV are measured with a data set of 102.7 fb. Fragmentation model parametrizations (Peterson, Kartvelishvili, Collins-Spiller, Lund, and Bowler models) are compared to the data. The data at high 1 indicate a contribution of non-perturbative QCD processes.
