Inclusive Prompt Photon Production in Deep Inelastic Scattering at H1
Carsten Schmitz

TL;DR
This paper reports measurements of isolated prompt photon production in deep inelastic scattering at H1, comparing experimental cross sections with leading order theoretical predictions to enhance understanding of photon production mechanisms.
Contribution
It provides new experimental measurements of prompt photon production cross sections in deep inelastic scattering and compares them with leading order QCD calculations.
Findings
Measured cross sections for prompt photons in specified kinematic ranges.
Reasonable agreement between measurements and leading order predictions.
Differential cross sections as functions of photon energy and pseudorapidity.
Abstract
Results are presented on the inclusive production of isolated prompt photons in deep inelastic scattering with a four-momentum transfer of . The cross sections are measured for the transverse momentum range of the photons and for the pseudorapidity range of the photons . They are measured differentially as a function of and . The results are compared with the predictions of a leading order calculation, which is in reasonable agreement with the inclusive measurement.
