Study of Inclusive B- and Bbar0 Decays to Flavor-Tagged D, D_s and Lambda_c
The BABAR Collaboration, B. Aubert, et al

TL;DR
This study measures inclusive decays of B- and B0 mesons to various charm particles, providing detailed branching fractions, charm yields, and momentum distributions based on a large dataset from the BABAR detector.
Contribution
It presents the first comprehensive measurement of inclusive B meson decays to multiple charm states and their momentum distributions, improving understanding of charm production in B decays.
Findings
Total charm yield per B- decay: 1.202
Total charm yield per B0 decay: 1.193
Charm momentum distributions measured in B rest frame
Abstract
We report on a study of inclusive and meson decays to , , , , , , , , based on a sample of 231 million events recorded with the BABAR detector at the resonance. Events are selected by completely reconstructing one and searching for a reconstructed charm particle in the rest of the event. From the measured branching fractions of these decays, we infer the number of charm and anti-charm particles per decay, separately for charged and neutral parents. We derive the total charm yield per decay, , and per decay, where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second is systematic, and the third reflects the…
