TL;DR
This paper presents the first measurements of the forward-backward asymmetry in B --> K* l+ l- decays and provides evidence for B- --> tau- nu_tau-bar decay, using large datasets from the Belle detector.
Contribution
It reports the first measurement of the forward-backward asymmetry and Wilson coefficient ratios in B --> K* l+ l- and the first evidence of B- --> tau- nu_tau-bar decay.
Findings
First measurement of forward-backward asymmetry in B --> K* l+ l-
First evidence of B- --> tau- nu_tau-bar decay
Quantitative results on Wilson coefficient ratios
Abstract
We report the first measurement of the forward-backward asymmetry and the ratios of Wilson coefficients in B --> K* l+ l- using 386 million BBbar pairs that were collected on the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. We also present the first evidence of the decay B- --> tau- nu_tau-bar using 414 fb^-1 of data.
