Fragmentation and spectroscopy of hadrons in ep collisions
N. Coppola, (On behalf of the H1, ZEUS Collaborations)

TL;DR
This paper reports on charm fragmentation, hadron spectroscopy, and pentaquark production in ep collisions at HERA, confirming universality of fragmentation and providing new measurements of meson and pentaquark production cross sections.
Contribution
It presents new experimental results on charm fragmentation, meson spectroscopy, and pentaquark production in ep collisions, supporting universality and enabling cross-experiment comparisons.
Findings
Fragmentation ratios agree with e+e- measurements.
Inclusive photoproduction cross sections for various mesons are measured.
Production cross sections and upper limits for pentaquarks are provided.
Abstract
Recent results on charm fragmentation and hadron spectroscopy in collisions at HERA with the ZEUS and H1 detectors are presented. The measured fragmentation ratios and fragmentation fractions are in agreement with those measured in , thus supporting the assumption of universality. Measurements of the inclusive photoproduction of the neutral mesons and are also presented. At the same time results on production of pentaquarks are shown. Cross sections of observed states and upper limits on the production cross section of unobserved states are extracted in order to enable comparison between experiments.
