Juraj Sutiak, for H1, ZEUS collaborations

TL;DR
This paper reports on measurements of electroweak interactions in deep inelastic scattering at HERA, comparing experimental results with Standard Model predictions and extracting electroweak parameters using polarized lepton beams.
Contribution
It provides new measurements of polarized cross-sections and electroweak parameters in electron-proton and positron-proton collisions at HERA, enhancing understanding of electroweak interactions.
Findings
Measured polarized inclusive cross-sections agree with Standard Model.
Extracted electroweak parameters are consistent with theoretical predictions.
Improved constraints on electroweak theory from HERA data.
Abstract
Neutral-current (NC) and charged-current (CC) deep inelastic scattering (DIS) interactions have been studied in electron-proton and positron-proton collisions with longitudinally polarised lepton beams using the H1 and ZEUS detectors at HERA. Measurements of the polarised inclusive cross-sections are presented and compared to the Standard Model (SM) expectations. The extraction of several electroweak parameters using a combined EW-QCD fit of unpolarised data is also discussed.
