Exclusive baryon-antibaryon production in $\gamma\gamma$ collisions at e+e- colliders
Teresa Barillari

TL;DR
This paper investigates the exclusive production of baryon-antibaryon pairs in gamma-gamma collisions at e+e- colliders, comparing experimental results with various theoretical models to understand the underlying particle interactions.
Contribution
It provides new experimental measurements of baryon-antibaryon production cross sections in gamma-gamma collisions and compares these with multiple theoretical models.
Findings
Cross-section measurements for proton, Lambda, and Sigma0 pairs are presented.
Experimental data are compared with three-quark, quark-diquark, and handbag models.
Results help refine understanding of baryon production mechanisms in photon collisions.
Abstract
The exclusive production of baryon-antibaryon pairs in the collisions of two quasi-real photons has been studied using different detectors at e+e- colliders. Results are presented for proton antiproton, , and final states. The cross-section measurements are compared with all the existing experimental data and with the analytic calculations based on the three-quark model, on the quark-diquark model, and on the handbag model.
