Shortest movie: Bose-Einstein correlation functions in e+e- annihilations
Tamas Novak

TL;DR
This paper analyzes Bose-Einstein correlations of identical charged pions in Z decays, using Levy stable distributions and the tau-model to reconstruct the source function, providing insights into particle production mechanisms.
Contribution
It introduces the use of Levy stable distributions and the tau-model for analyzing Bose-Einstein correlations in e+e- annihilations, offering a novel approach to source function reconstruction.
Findings
Levy stable distributions effectively describe the correlations.
The tau-model successfully reconstructs the source function.
The analysis enhances understanding of particle emission sources.
Abstract
Bose-Einstein correlations of identical charged-pion pairs produced in hadronic Z decays are analyzed in terms of various parametrizations. A good description is achieved using Levy stable distributions. The source function is reconstructed with the help of the tau-model.
