P. Petroff (LAL), the CDF, D0 Collaboration

TL;DR
This paper reports measurements of W and Z boson production cross sections and related parameters in proton-antiproton collisions at 1.96 TeV, providing insights into electroweak interactions and fundamental particle properties.
Contribution
It presents new measurements of W and Z boson production rates, leptonic branching ratios, and related parameters using data from the Tevatron Run II, improving precision and extracting fundamental constants.
Findings
Measured W and Z production cross sections and branching ratios.
Extracted the leptonic branching fraction of W bosons.
Provided an indirect estimate of the W boson total width and the CKM matrix element |Vcs|.
Abstract
Measurements of inclusive W and Z cross sections times leptonic branching ratios for collisions at =1.96 TeV are reported here on behalf of the CDF and D0 collaborations. The data correspond t an integrated luminosity up to 200 . The ratio of leptonic W and Z rates is measured and the leptonic branching fraction is extracted as well as an indirect value for the total width of teh W and the CKM matrix element .
