Lepton Flavor Violation in tau decays at BaBar
Swagato Banerjee (on behalf of the BaBar Collaboration.)

TL;DR
This paper reports on searches for lepton flavor violating tau decays at BaBar, setting upper limits on branching ratios around 10^{-7}, contributing to the understanding of physics beyond the Standard Model.
Contribution
First experimental search for multiple lepton flavor violating tau decays at BaBar, establishing new upper limits on their branching ratios.
Findings
Upper limits on tau decay branching ratios at 10^{-7} level.
No evidence of lepton flavor violation observed.
Results constrain new physics models predicting such decays.
Abstract
Searches for lepton flavor violating tau -> l gamma, tau -> lll and tau -> lhh decays at the BaBar experiment are presented. Upper limits on the branching ratios are obtained at the level of 10^{-7} at 90% confidence level.
