TL;DR
This paper reviews recent experimental measurements of B meson decay rates and CP-violation asymmetries, compares them with theoretical predictions, and discusses the implications for understanding B decay dynamics.
Contribution
It provides an overview of recent experimental results on B decays and evaluates their consistency with theoretical models.
Findings
Measured B decay rates to leptonic and hadronic states
Observed CP-violation charge asymmetries
Assessed agreement between theory and experiment
Abstract
I present some recent measurements of B meson decay rates to leptonic and charmless hadronic final states, as well as of CP-violation charge asymmetries and other features. I sketch the theoretical frameworks used to predict these, and indicate the level of agreement of the estimates with experiment.
