TL;DR
This paper reviews experimental results from the CELSIUS and COSY synchrotrons focusing on meson production, quark structure, and symmetry breaking in meson decays, highlighting the WASA project at COSY.
Contribution
It provides a comparative overview of recent experimental findings related to meson production and symmetry breaking at two major synchrotrons, including the WASA project.
Findings
Insights into meson production mechanisms
Evidence for symmetry breaking in meson decays
Advancements in understanding quark structure
Abstract
We review some selected experimental results achieved at the synchrotrons CELSIUS in Sweden and COSY in Germany. They concentrate on meson production with emphasis on the underlying quark structure. The project WASA at COSY is discussed and the search for symmetry breaking in decays of and mesons is highlighted.
