Bose Einstein correlations of neutral pion pairs at LEP
M. Boutemeur, G. Giacomelli

TL;DR
This paper reports on the measurement of Bose-Einstein correlations of neutral pion pairs at LEP using the OPAL detector, comparing results with previous hadron correlation studies including Fermi-Dirac correlations.
Contribution
First measurement of BECs for neutral pion pairs at LEP, providing new insights into quantum statistical effects in meson production.
Findings
Measured BEC parameters for neutral pion pairs
Compared BEC results with Fermi-Dirac correlations for other hadrons
Enhanced understanding of particle correlation phenomena
Abstract
With the OPAL detector at LEP we measured at energies around the Z0 peak the Bose-Einstein Correlations (BECs) of neutral pion pairs. We compare the results of this measurement with former results obtained at LEP for hadrons including those obtained from Fermi-Dirac Correlations (FDCs).
