Partial Wave Analysis of $\chi_{c0}\to\pi^+\pi^-K^+K^-$
M. Ablikim, et al, BES Collaboration

TL;DR
This study performs a detailed partial wave analysis of the decay $oldsymbol{\chi_{c0} o ext{ extpi}^+ ext{ extpi}^- ext{K}^+ ext{K}^-}$ using a large data sample, identifying multiple intermediate resonant contributions and measuring their properties.
Contribution
It introduces a comprehensive partial wave analysis of $oldsymbol{ ext{ extchi}_{c0}}$ decays, revealing new resonance contributions and flavor-SU(3) symmetry violations in $oldsymbol{ ext{ extchi}_{c0}}$ decay channels.
Findings
Identified significant contributions from multiple scalar and tensor resonances.
Observed flavor-SU(3)-violating asymmetry between $K_1(1270)$ and $K_1(1400)$.
Measured masses and widths of several scalar resonances.
Abstract
A partial wave analysis of in decay is presented using a sample of 14 million events accumulated by the BES II detector. The data are fitted to the sum of relativistic covariant tensor amplitudes for intermediate resonant decay modes. From the fit, significant contributions to decays from the channels , , , , , , and are found. Flavor-SU(3)-violating asymmetry is observed. Values obtained for the masses and widths of the resonances , , , and are presented.
