Study of the Suppressed Decays $B^\pm \to [K^\mp \pi^\pm]_D K^\pm$ and $B^\pm \to [K^\mp \pi^\pm]_D \pi^\pm$ at Belle
K. Abe, et al. (for the Belle Collaboration)

TL;DR
This study investigates suppressed B meson decays involving D mesons to explore CP violation and CKM angle phi_3, using Belle data, but finds no significant signals and sets limits on decay parameters.
Contribution
First measurement of suppressed B decay modes involving D mesons at Belle, providing limits on decay amplitude ratios and CP asymmetry.
Findings
No significant signal for B^- → [K^+π^-]_D K^- decays.
Set an upper limit r_B < 0.18 at 90% confidence level.
Measured CP asymmetry for B^- → [K^+π^-]_D π^- as 0.10 ± 0.22 (stat) ± 0.02 (syst).
Abstract
We report an updated study of the suppressed decays and where indicates that the pair originates from a neutral meson. A data sample containing 386 million pairs recorded at the resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric storage ring is used. This decay mode is sensitive to the CKM angle . We do not see a significant signal for , and we set a limit on the ratio of B decay amplitudes at the 90% confidence level. We measure the CP asymmetry of the mode, .
