Search for the Rare Decays B+ --> D(*)+K0s
B. Aubert, et al, BABAR Collaboration

TL;DR
This study searches for rare B+ meson decays into D(*)+ and K0s particles using a large dataset, but finds no significant signals and sets upper limits on their branching fractions.
Contribution
First search for the rare decays B+ → D(*)+ K0s, providing upper limits on their branching fractions based on extensive data analysis.
Findings
No significant signals observed for the decays.
Upper limits set on branching fractions: <0.5×10⁻⁵ and <0.9×10⁻⁵.
Results constrain theoretical models of rare B+ decays.
Abstract
We report on the search for the rare decays in approximately 226 million decays collected with the BaBar detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy factory at SLAC. We do not observe any significant signal and we set 90% confidence level upper limits on the branching fractions, and .
