The Belle Collaboration: A. Limosani, et al

TL;DR
This paper measures the |V_ub| element of the CKM matrix by analyzing the endpoint of the electron momentum spectrum in semileptonic B-meson decays, providing a precise determination based on Belle data.
Contribution
It presents the first measurement of |V_ub| near the electron momentum endpoint using Belle data, combining experimental results with theoretical predictions for improved accuracy.
Findings
Partial branching fraction measured as (8.47 ± 0.37 ± 1.53)×10^{-4}
|V_ub| determined as (5.08 ± 0.47 ± 0.42^{+0.26}_{-0.23})×10^{-3}

Abstract
We report measurements of partial branching fractions of inclusive charmless semileptonic -meson decays at the endpoint of the electron momentum spectrum. The measurements are made in six overlapping momentum intervals that have lower bounds ranging from 1.9 GeV/ to 2.4 GeV/ and a common upper bound of 2.6 GeV/, as measured in the centre of mass frame. The results are based on a sample of 29 million pairs, accumulated by the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric collider operating on the resonance. In the momentum interval ranging from 1.9 GeV/ to 2.6 GeV/ we measure the partial branching fraction , where the first error is statistical and the second is systematic. A prediction of the partial rate $R=(21.69 \pm 3.62^{+ 2.18}_{- 1.98}) |V_{ub}|^2…
