Atmospheric neutrino oscillations
G. Giacomelli, M. Giorgini (Bologna University, INFN)

TL;DR
This paper reviews recent experimental results on atmospheric neutrino oscillations from major detectors and discusses the Monte Carlo simulations used for modeling atmospheric neutrino flux.
Contribution
It provides a summary of recent experimental findings and examines the Monte Carlo methods employed in atmospheric neutrino flux simulations.
Findings
Experimental evidence supports atmospheric neutrino oscillations.
Comparison of results from Soudan 2, MACRO, and SuperKamiokande.
Discussion on the accuracy of Monte Carlo simulations.
Abstract
The latest results from the Soudan 2, MACRO and SuperKamiokande experiments on atmospheric neutrino oscillations are summarised and discussed. In particular a discussion is made on the Monte Carlo simulations used for the atmospheric neutrino flux.
