Jet Production at HERA and Measurements of the Strong Coupling Constant
Dorian Kcira

TL;DR
This paper presents measurements of jet production at HERA, highlighting discrepancies with theoretical predictions at low x, and provides precise determinations of the strong coupling constant alpha_s consistent with the global average.
Contribution
It offers new experimental data on jet production at low x and refines the measurement of alpha_s with high precision, challenging existing theoretical models.
Findings
DGLAP-based calculations fail at low x and forward rapidities.
Alpha_s measurements agree with the world average.
Experimental data constrains QCD models at low x.
Abstract
Measurements of HERA that explore the parton dynamics at low Bjorken x are presented together with precise determinations of the strong coupling constant alpha_s. Calculations at next to leading order using the DGLAP evolution fail to describe the data at low x and forward jet pseudorapidities. The alpha_s measurements at HERA are in agreement with the world average and have very competitive errors.
