Search for Factorization-Suppressed B -> chi_c K(*) Decays
The BABAR Collaboration, B. Aubert, et al

TL;DR
This paper reports a search for specific suppressed B meson decays into chi_c states and K(*) mesons, using a large dataset collected by the BABAR detector to test theoretical predictions about these rare processes.
Contribution
The study provides the first experimental search for factorization-suppressed B -> chi_c0,2 K(*) decays using a large dataset, setting limits on their branching fractions.
Findings
No significant signals observed for the decays.
Upper limits set on branching fractions.
Results constrain theoretical models of B decays.
Abstract
We search for the factorization-suppressed decays B -> chi_c0 K(*) and B -> chi_c2 K(*), with chi_c0 and chi_c2 decaying into J/psi gamma using a sample of 124 10^6 BBbar events collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II storage ring of the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center.
