Experimental review of diffractive phenomena
L. Favart

TL;DR
This paper reviews recent experimental measurements of hard diffractive interactions from HERA and Tevatron colliders, discussing the structure, factorization, and cross-section ratios of diffractive processes.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive overview of experimental results on diffractive phenomena, highlighting insights into the partonic structure and factorization properties.
Findings
Diffractive exchange involves partons.
Factorization properties are analyzed.
Ratios of diffractive to non-diffractive cross sections are discussed.
Abstract
A review is given of the measurements of the hard diffractive interactions in recent years from two high-energy colliders, the HERA collider and the Tevatron collider. The structure of the diffractive exchange in terms of partons, the factorisation properties and the ratio of diffractive to non-diffractive cross sections are discussed.
