Constraints upon the CKM angle phi_2 (alpha) from Belle
A. J. Schwartz (for the Belle Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports measurements of B meson decays by Belle, providing constraints on the CKM angle phi_2, suggesting it is approximately 100 degrees, which helps understand CP violation in the quark sector.
Contribution
The paper presents new experimental measurements of charmless B decays and derives constraints on the CKM angle phi_2, advancing the understanding of CP violation.
Findings
phi_2 is approximately 100 degrees
Measured branching fractions and CP asymmetries for B0->pi+pi- and B0->rho+-pi-+
Constraints improve understanding of the CKM matrix
Abstract
The Belle experiment has measured branching fractions and CP asymmetries for the charmless decays B0->pi+pi- and B0->rho+-pi-+. From these measurements, constraints upon the CKM angle phi_2 can be obtained. These constraints indicate that phi_2 is around 100 degrees.
