Study of the decay mode D^0 -> K-K+pi-pi+
the FOCUS Collaboration: J.Link, et al

TL;DR
This paper reports a new measurement of the branching ratio for the decay D^0 -> K^-K^+ ho^- ho^+ and analyzes its resonant substructure, highlighting the dominance of D^0 -> K_1^+ K- modes.
Contribution
It provides the first precise measurement of the branching ratio for D^0 -> K^-K^+ ho^- ho^+ and details its resonant decay components.
Findings
Branching ratio measured as 0.0295 ± 0.0011 (stat.) ± 0.0008 (syst.)
Dominant contribution from D^0 -> K_1^+ K- modes
Analysis of resonant substructure performed
Abstract
Using data from the FOCUS (E831) experiment at Fermilab, we present a new measurement of the branching ratio for the Cabibbo-favored decay mode . From a sample of fully reconstructed events, we measure . A coherent amplitude analysis has been performed to determine the resonant substructure of this decay mode. This analysis reveals a dominant contribution from modes.
