Study of B Decays into the Final State D(*)\pi\pi\pi at BaBar
H.W.Zhao

TL;DR
This paper analyzes B meson decays into D(*) and three pions using BaBar data, focusing on reconstructing specific decay modes and identifying the dominant decay channel.
Contribution
It presents a detailed study of B decays into D(*) and three pions, including reconstruction of exclusive and non-resonant modes, highlighting the dominant B->D(*)a_{1}(1260) decay.
Findings
Identification of the dominant B->D(*)a_{1}(1260) decay mode.
Reconstruction of B->D(*)a_{1}(1260), B->D(*)rho^{0} pi, and B->D(*)pipipi decays.
Analysis based on 57.4 fb^{-1} of data at the Upsilon(4S) resonance.
Abstract
Based on a data sample of an integrated luminosity of 57.4 fb-1 at the Upsilon(4S) resonance taken with the BaBar detector using the SLAC PEP-II asymmetric-energy -Factory, hadronic decays of B meson with the final states D(*) and three pions are studied. The study is performed by fully reconstructing the exclusive decays of B->D(*)a_{1}(1260) and the non-resonant modes B->D(*)rho^{0} pi and B->D(*)pipipi. The current status of the study is presented and a dominant B->D(*)a_{1}(1260) decay is shown.
