Measurement of the Ratio of Inclusive Cross Sections ppbar->Z+b/ppbar->Z+j at DZero Run II
Yildirim D. Mutaf, Suny at Stony Brook

TL;DR
This paper measures the ratio of Z boson production with b-jets to Z production with any jets in proton-antiproton collisions, providing insights into heavy-flavor jet production at high energies.
Contribution
It presents the first measurement of the ratio of Z+b to Z+jet cross sections at DZero, using Run II data from the Tevatron collider.
Findings
Measured the ratio of Z+b to Z+jet cross sections.
Provides data for testing QCD predictions involving heavy-flavor jets.
Enhances understanding of b-jet production in high-energy collisions.
Abstract
We study the b-jet production in association with Z boson at DZero using Run II data collected between August 2002 and September 2003 corresponding to about 180 pb-1 of recorded luminosity. We also present a measurement of the ratio of cross sections for Z+b to Z+j inclusive jet productions.
