Study of $J/\psi \to \omega K^+K^-$
M. Ablikim, et al. (the BES Collaboration)

TL;DR
This study analyzes $J/psi o K^+K^-$ decays using a large data sample, identifying signals for specific resonances and estimating their branching ratios, contributing to understanding meson spectroscopy.
Contribution
It provides new experimental data on $J/psi$ decays, identifying resonance signals and constraining branching ratios, which advances knowledge of meson properties and decay mechanisms.
Findings
Detection of $f_0(1710) o K^+K^-$ signal
Observation of a peak consistent with $f_2(2150) o Kar K$
Branching ratio $BR(f_0(1710) o\u03c0\u03c0)/BR(f_0(1710) o Kar K) < 0.11$ at 95% CL
Abstract
New data are presented on from a sample of 58M events in the upgraded BES II detector at the BEPC. There is a conspicuous signal for and a peak at higher mass which may be fitted with . From a combined analysis with data, the branching ratio is at the 95% confidence level.
