BABAR Collaboration: B. Aubert, et al

TL;DR
This paper reports measurements of the branching fractions for $B^0$ decays to $D_s^{*+} D^{*-}$ and for $D_s^+$ decaying to $\
Contribution
It introduces a partial reconstruction method for measuring $B^0$ decay branching fractions and provides a model-independent determination of $D_s^+ o \\phi \\pi^+$ branching fraction.
Findings
Measured $BF(B^0 o D_s^{*+} D^{*-})$ as (1.85 ± 0.09 ± 0.16)%
Measured $BF(D_s^+ o \\phi \\pi^+)$ as (4.71 ± 0.47 ± 0.35)%
Used partial reconstruction technique for $B^0$ decays
Abstract
We present preliminary results on the branching fractions and , based on a data sample of approximately \BB events collected by the \babar detector at the PEP-II \B--factory. is measured selecting neutral \B meson decays to the final state with partial reconstruction of the , in which only the and the soft photons from the decay are reconstructed. The branching fraction product is measured via a complete reconstruction of the whole decay chain. Comparing these two measurements provides a model-independent determination of the branching fraction. We obtain the following preliminary results: $BF(B^0\to…
