BES Collaboration: M. Ablikim, et al

TL;DR
This paper reports the first observation of $K^*(892)^0ar K^*(892)^0$ signals in $ ext{chi}_{cJ}$ decays, measuring their branching fractions with significant statistical confidence using data from BES II.
Contribution
First observation of $K^*(892)^0ar K^*(892)^0$ in $ ext{chi}_{cJ}$ decays and measurement of their branching fractions.
Findings
Branching fractions for $ ext{chi}_{c0}$, $ ext{chi}_{c1}$, $ ext{chi}_{c2}$ decays determined.
Signals observed with significances of 4.2$\sigma$, 4.3$\sigma$, and 7.5$\sigma$.
Data sample consisted of 14 million $ ext{psi}(2S)$ events.
Abstract
signals from decays are observed for the first time using a data sample of 14 million events accumulated at the BES II detector. The branching fractions are determined to be , , and for the , and decays, respectively, where the first errors are statistical and the second are systematic. The significances of these signals are about 4.2, 4.3, and 7.5, respectively.
