Contribution
It provides early experimental limits on Higgs production at the Tevatron, comparing observed data with theoretical expectations in various final states.
Findings
New limits set on Higgs production cross sections
Comparison of data with theoretical models
Analysis of multiple final states involving W and Z bosons
Abstract
Preliminary results obtained by the CDF and D0 Collaborations on the Standard Model Higgs searches at the Tevatron Run II are discussed. The data that correspond to an integrated luminosity of > 150/pb are compared to theoretical expectations. Various final states involving the W and Z bosons production are examined, and new limits are set on the sigma[W(->enu/munu)H(->bb)] and sigma[H(->WW(*))] cross sections.
