Roman Poeschl (On behalf of the H1, ZEUS Collaborations)

TL;DR
This paper reviews methods for extracting the strong coupling constant $lpha_s$ from high-energy jets in Deep-Inelastic Scattering at HERA, showing consistent results with the world average and competitive errors.
Contribution
It introduces and compares multiple methods for determining $lpha_s$ from jet data in DIS, demonstrating their agreement and competitiveness with other processes.
Findings
Results agree with the world average of $lpha_s$
Errors are competitive with other high-precision measurements
Multiple methods yield consistent $lpha_s$ values
Abstract
Several methods to extract the strong coupling constant by means of highly energetic jets in Deep-Inelastic Scattering are presented. The results from the various methods agree with one another and with the world average. The errors are competetive to those achieved in determinations in other processes such as proton--anti-proton scattering.
