TL;DR
This paper reports early Run II QCD jet measurements from D0 and CDF at the Tevatron, including cross sections and underlying event studies, confirming consistency with the standard model while searching for deviations.
Contribution
First measurements of QCD jet cross sections and underlying events in Run II at the Tevatron, providing data for future deviation searches.
Findings
Results are consistent with the standard model.
Inclusive and dijet cross sections measured.
Underlying events studied with two methods.
Abstract
Early Run II QCD jet results from D0 and CDF are presented. Inclusive and dijet cross sections have been measured and underlying events have been studied by two different means. While the results to date are consistent with the standard model both experiments are working hard to spot any deviations that may emerge.
