TL;DR
This paper reviews measurements of lepton and quark asymmetries at the Z boson peak from LEP and SLC, highlighting their significance in testing Z-fermion couplings and determining the electroweak mixing angle.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive review of experimental asymmetry measurements and their implications for electroweak theory.
Findings
Precise asymmetry measurements constrain Z-fermion couplings.
Results impact the determination of the electroweak mixing angle.
Experimental data supports the Standard Model predictions.
Abstract
Lepton and quark asymmetries at Z boson peak are a powerful means to test the couplings of the Z boson to fermions. The measurements performed at LEP and SLC colliders are reviewed, and their impact on the determination of the electroweak mixing angle is presented.
