The BABAR Collaboration, B. Aubert, et al

TL;DR
This paper reports a measurement of time-dependent CP-violating asymmetries in B0 decays to K_s^0 pi^0, providing insights into matter-antimatter differences using data from the BaBar experiment.
Contribution
First measurement of CP-violating asymmetries in B0 to K_s^0 pi^0 decays using a large data sample from BaBar.
Findings
Measured direct CPV asymmetry C_{K_s^0 pi^0} = 0.40^{+0.27}_{-0.28} d 0.09
Measured mixing-induced CPV asymmetry S_{K_s^0 pi^0} = 0.48^{+0.38}_{-0.47} d 0.06
Results are consistent with Standard Model predictions.
Abstract
We present a measurement of the time-dependent CP-violating (CPV) asymmetries in decays based on 124 million decays collected with the BaBar detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy Factory at SLAC. In a sample containing signal decays, we obtain the magnitude of the direct CPV asymmetry and the magnitude of the CPV asymmetry in the interference between mixing and decay where the first error is statistical and the second systematic.
