Evidence for $B^+\to\omega l^+ \nu$
The Belle Collaboration

TL;DR
This paper reports the first evidence for the decay $B^+ o ext{ extomega} l^+ u$ using Belle data, measuring its branching fraction and demonstrating the decay's observability.
Contribution
First experimental evidence for the decay $B^+ o ext{ extomega} l^+ u$ with a measured branching fraction from Belle data.
Findings
Observed 414±125 events indicating the decay.
Measured branching fraction of (1.3±0.4±0.2±0.3)×10^{-4}.
Demonstrated the decay's detectability with current data.
Abstract
We have searched for the decay ( or ) in 78 fb of data (85 million events) accumulated with the Belle detector. The final state is fully reconstructed using the decay into , combined with detector hermeticity to estimate the neutrino momentum. A signal of events is found in the data, corresponding to a branching fraction of , where the first two errors are statistical and systematic, respectively. The third error reflects the estimated form-factor uncertainty.
