Measurements of $\psi(2S)$ decays into Vector- Tensor final states
J. Z. Bai et al (BES Collaboration)

TL;DR
This study measures the decay rates of the $ ext{ψ(2S)}$ particle into vector-tensor meson pairs, providing more precise data that confirms deviations from the expected 12% rule in these decay channels.
Contribution
The paper presents new, more accurate measurements of $ ext{ψ(2S)}$ decays into vector-tensor final states, confirming rule violation with improved precision.
Findings
Branching fractions for specific $ ext{ψ(2S)}$ decay modes are determined.
Results confirm violation of the 12% rule in $ ext{ψ(2S)}$ decays to VT channels.
Improved measurements over previous BESI results.
Abstract
Decays of the into vector plus tensor meson final states have been studied with 14 million events collected with the BESII detector. Branching fractions of , , and are determined. They improve upon previous BESI results and confirm the violation of the "12%" rule for decays to VT channels with higher precision.
