Observation of radiative B -> phi K gamma decays
A. Drutskoy, et al. (the Belle Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports the first observation of the radiative decay B -> phi K gamma, measuring its branching fraction for charged B mesons and setting an upper limit for neutral B mesons, based on Belle experiment data.
Contribution
The first observation of the radiative decay B -> phi K gamma and measurement of its branching fraction for charged B mesons.
Findings
Branching fraction for B- -> phi K- gamma measured as (3.4 ± 0.9 ± 0.4) x 10^-6.
No significant signal observed for neutral B -> phi K0 gamma, upper limit set.
Photon energy distribution for B- -> phi K- gamma presented.
Abstract
The radiative decay is observed for the first time. The branching fraction for the charged decay mode is measured to be . The photon energy distribution for the decay is presented. The signal for the neutral decay mode is not statistically significant and an upper limit, at , is set. The analysis is based on a dataset of 90 fb collected by the Belle experiment at the asymmetric collider KEKB.
