Measurements of sin(2 beta) in B decays
W. T. Ford

TL;DR
This paper discusses the experimental measurement of the CKM angle beta using B meson decay time differences, presenting current results from various decay modes and comparing their findings.
Contribution
It provides the first comprehensive overview of experimental measurements of sin(2 beta) in B decays, highlighting recent results and their implications.
Findings
Current measurements of sin(2 beta) are consistent across different decay modes.
The results support the Standard Model predictions for CP violation in B decays.
Precision of measurements is improving with larger data samples.
Abstract
I describe the experimental determination of the CKM angle beta from measurements of the decay time separation delta t between B0 mesons produced as B Bbar pairs in e+e- annihilation. The current results from leading and non-leading decay modes are presented and compared.
