Measurement of Branching Fraction for B --> psi(2S)K*(892) Decays
K. Abe, et al. (Belle Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports precise measurements of the branching fractions for specific B meson decays involving psi(2S) and K* mesons, using a large dataset from the Belle detector, providing valuable data for understanding B decay processes.
Contribution
First measurement of branching fractions for B+ and B0 decays to psi(2S) and K* at Belle, with improved precision and statistical significance.
Findings
Branching fraction for B+ --> psi(2S) K*+ is (8.13 ± 0.77 ± 0.89) x 10^{-4}
Branching fraction for B0 --> psi(2S) K*0 is (7.20 ± 0.43 ± 0.65) x 10^{-4}
Results are consistent with theoretical predictions and previous measurements.
Abstract
We have measured the branching fractions of the colour suppressed decays B^{+} --> \psi(2S) K^{*+}(892) and B^{0} --> psi(2S)K^{*0}(892) using a data sample of 84 million B\bar{B} events recorded by the Belle detector on the Upsilon(4S) resonance. The branching fractions for the charged and neutral mode decays are (8.13 \pm 0.77 \pm 0.89) x 10^{-4}(7.20 \pm 0.43 \pm 0.65) x 10^{-4}$, respectively.
