KLOE prospects and preliminary results for Kl3 decay measurements
The KLOE Collaboration

TL;DR
This paper discusses the KLOE experiment's potential to measure the V_{us} CKM matrix element through kaon decay studies, based on data collected since 1999 at the DAFNE collider.
Contribution
It presents the preliminary prospects and methodology for measuring V_{us} using KLOE's kaon decay data, highlighting the experiment's capabilities.
Findings
Approximately 500 pb^{-1} of data collected by September 2002.
Initial analysis methods for semileptonic kaon decay measurements.
Potential to improve the precision of V_{us} determination.
Abstract
The KLOE experiment has been running since April 1999 at the DAFNE e+e- collider at a center of mass energy centered around the phi meson mass. The luminosity integrated up to September 2002 is about 500 pb-1 . Here we present the perspectives on the measurement of the V_{us} CKM-matrix element with the KLOE detector, using both charged and neutral kaon semileptonic decays.
