Bose-Einstein correlations in WW pair production at LEP
N. van Remortel (Universiteit Antwerpen, Belgium)

TL;DR
This paper reviews measurements of Bose-Einstein correlations in WW pair production at LEP, highlighting differing results from L3 and DELPHI collaborations regarding inter-W correlations.
Contribution
It provides a comparative overview of experimental results on inter-W Bose-Einstein correlations from multiple LEP collaborations.
Findings
L3 observes no inter-W BEC effect.
DELPHI reports an inter-W BEC indication at about three standard deviations.
Results show conflicting evidence on inter-W Bose-Einstein correlations.
Abstract
This paper presents an overview of the latest results from the L3 and DELPHI collaborations concerning the measurement of Bose-Einstein correlations between identical bosons coming from different W's in fully hadronic WW decays. Using the same method, L3 sees no indication of any inter-W BEC effect, while DELPHI reports an indication of inter-W BEC between like-charged particles of the order of three standard deviations.
